Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of supply chain resilience in the face of unforeseen disruptions. In this context, information systems play a critical role in ensuring that organizations can quickly respond to disruptions and maintain continuity in their operations. This paper explores the role of information systems in enhancing supply chain resilience. Specifically, we discuss the various types of information systems used in supply chain management, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management systems (SCMS), and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. We also review the challenges that organizations face in achieving supply chain resilience, including the lack of interoperability between different systems and the complexity of supply chains. Finally, we provide recommendations for organizations to enhance their supply chain resilience through the effective use of information systems.
