Abstract

The 21st century has presented numerous challenges to the development of international criminal law. Despite significant progress in the prosecution of international crimes, including genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, the international community continues to grapple with issues such as impunity, state sovereignty, and the protection of human rights. This article examines the challenges and prospects for the development of international criminal law in the 21st century.
