Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Advances in Law: Conference Proceedings is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. We follow the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Standards for Editors and Authors (ISEA) to ensure the ethical conduct of publishing.
Authors' Responsibilities
- Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and have not been published elsewhere or submitted for publication to other journals.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the interpretation of their research findings or their judgment.
- Authors must properly acknowledge the work of others and cite all sources used in their research.
- Authors must obtain permission to use copyrighted material and provide proper attribution.
- Authors must ensure that their research involving human or animal subjects complies with all ethical standards and obtain the necessary approvals from institutional review boards or ethics committees.
- Authors must be willing to make data and materials used in their research available to other researchers upon request.
Editors' Responsibilities
- Editors must evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or nationality.
- Editors must maintain the confidentiality of authors' submissions and not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, and editorial board members.
- Editors must ensure that all submitted manuscripts are subject to a fair and unbiased peer-review process.
- Editors must be willing to consider retractions or corrections of published articles if errors or misconduct are discovered.
Reviewers' Responsibilities
- Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content and provide constructive feedback to authors.
- Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone other than the editors.
- Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their judgment or objectivity.
Publisher's Responsibilities
- The publisher must ensure that the journal is published on a regular basis and that all content is available to the public.
- The publisher must maintain the integrity of the academic record and publish corrections, retractions, and apologies when necessary.
Any allegations of research misconduct or publication malpractice will be investigated thoroughly by the editorial board, and appropriate measures will be taken to address any such issues. We encourage authors, reviewers, and readers to bring to our attention any concerns or issues related to publication ethics and malpractice.
